Touchdown for Seasons Arizona Patient
There was nothing that Bryce loved more in life than the Arizona Cardinals football team. Bryce’s room was painted in Cardinals colors and he enjoyed watching the games with his family — they even took family pictures wearing Cardinals jerseys! One of Bryce’s dreams was to meet someone from the Cardinals. At just 21 years old, Bryce became eligible for hospice because of a lifelong battle with cerebral palsy. While Bryce was on Seasons Hospice, Celestine Carroll, Admissions Coordinator, contacted her friend, ‘Coach Mo’ — the defensive coach for the Arizona Cardinals. Coach Mo visited with Bryce and his family, presenting them with a signed football, shirts, hats, and other memorabilia. Though Bryce was nonverbal, when Coach Mo arrived, Bryce started making vocalizations, showing his family how happy he was. Coach Mo had the Cardinals pee-wee league play their last game in Bryce’s honor, and the entire legacy project was shared with the Cardinals team members. We are honored to provide moments like these that create memories that will last a lifetime for Bryce’s family. Thank you to Coach Mo and the Arizona Cardinals for making Bryce's dream come true!
