Disparities in the use of hospice and palliative care is a concern that Seasons is actively combating. We began by creating a Diversity Department that is responsible for community outreach and educational training in communities underserved in end-of-life care.

At Seasons we encourage the awareness and respect for diversity in our staff and among our patients and their families. We have a no-tolerance policy for stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination or racism.

We provide continuous diversity education and training to all employees. Seasons Hospice is already well above the national average for various ethnic groups, and we're dedicated to even greater diversity.

Cultural Diversity among our patients:
African American 9.2%
American Indian/Alaskan .2%
Asian .7%
Hawaiian/Pacific Islander .1%
Hispanic/Latino 4.3%
White/Caucasian 82%
Other 3.2%
